All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children.

Fathers, provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and instruction of the LORD.

They brought young children to Jesus so that he should touch them, and his disciples scolded those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said to them, "Permit the little children to come to me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God. Truly I say to you, whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter it." And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

These words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart. And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as emblems before your eyes. And you shall write them upon the posts of your house and on your gates.

Children's children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children are their fathers.

Children are a heritage from the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of one's youth. Happy is the man that has his quiver full of them.

Jesus called a little child to him, and set him in the midst of them, and said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted, and become like little children, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever shall receive one such little child in my name receives me."

As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
